Stewartstown Square and the adjoining two properties consist of four total parcels located in the heart of the Borough of Stewartstown in southern Pennsylvania. Stewartstown, within York County, is located 3 miles north of the Maryland line via Main Street/Berrens Road S (State Route 24). I-83 is in close proximity via the Maryland Line and Shrewsbury exits (6 and 4.5 miles, respectively). Stewartstown has a robust heritage that goes back more than 250 years. Much of that history is in conjunction with the borough’s position along major railroads. In more recent history, the area has been as an idyllic village for those living in the area, as well as a bedroom community for those commuting to Baltimore, York and Harrisburg.
Stewartstown Square itself is comprised of a retail strip center arranged for 4 tenant spaces, including a drive-thru bank site, a freestanding restaurant building and another freestanding commercial building, once home to a local courthouse. Adjoining Stewartstown Square is a development parcel that could be used as a pad site or for alternative development, and a residential home that is currently leased. Positioned along Main Street, the assemblage is well-positioned within the town’s commercial district. Surrounding properties include an expanded convenience store, professional offices, storefronts, funeral home, religious facilities and residential homes.
The collection of property types, in addition to method of sale, presents an attractive opportunity for a variety of both owner-occupants and investors. The sale provides options for individual use, value-add or comprehensive redevelopment.
